The concert will take place on Thursday, a day before the funeral of Franklin, at the Chene Park Amphitheater in Detroit. All artists participate on a voluntary basis.

The ‘Queen of Soul’ will be buried next week at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit, where also her brother, sisters, cousin and father are buried. The funeral takes place in a closed circle.
