Reese Witherspoon was not ready to get rid of her entire wardrobe from the comedic film Legally Blonde, so she kept it after the shooting. That’s what the actress said at The Graham Norton Show on Friday.
“I put that in my contract”
The moment Legally Blonde was released, Witherspoon was in England for the filming of a new film. When she returned, a huge pile of clothes, plus 77 pairs of Jimmy Choo shoes, was waiting for her. “I put that in my contract. I didn’t touch them until the fifteenth birthday of the movie, and then I started fitting them all with my daughter.”
In the film, Reese played the iconic role of Elle Woods, a clumsy but also very smart woman who is admitted to Harvard School of Law, against everyone’s expectations. A second part was released in 2003, and a third part is expected in 2020.
