Alison Brie (39) is still disappointed that the fourth Netflix season of the wrestling series ‘GLOW’ has not materialized, although it was announced. In an interview with entertainment website ‘Decider’, the actress called this decision “the greatest sadness” of her career.
“I miss it very much, but I am very grateful for my time in the series”
“But the series will always be something great. It was fantastic to work on it, perhaps the most I’ve ever done. I miss it very much, but I’m very grateful for my time in the series.”
GLOW is about an actress in the 80s who – because she has a hard time getting a job – tries to make it in the world of professional show wrestling. After three seasons, the series came to an abrupt end because of corona, in which Alison played the lead.
“It was surprising, but it was also overshadowed by everything that was going on in the world,” the actress refers to the corona pandemic that started in 2020. “So it kind of put everything in perspective a little bit.”
