For its part, Ubéda has rejected these accusations. “I will only react when I know what and who we are talking about,” the adviser wrote on his Twitter account this Monday, while revealing that a day later he had a meeting scheduled with the investigator in charge of the case. “I call this a defamatory complaint . Sometimes #MeToo is just a myth,” he added.
In another publication , Ubéda also believed that the complaint is part of an orchestrated campaign against him to which he has been subjected for working with Zemmour. “Working for Z [Éric Zemmour]: 1. your wife is fired from her job; 2. the tax authorities are too enthusiastic; 3. you are accused of rape,” he tweeted.
“The media loves it. Wanting to break what works. Dirty to stop. It sucks. Who will believe it? Who is next?” Ubéda wrote, noting that the complaint “is not based on anything.”
The accusations come amid the controversy generated by the head of Ubéda himself, Éric Zemmour, fined 10,000 euros (about 11,250 dollars) for inciting racial hatred in 2020 when he called the children of migrants “thieves”, “murderers” and “rapists”, recalls Reuters.
