Adele (34) would struggle to fill the seats in The Colosseum in Las Vegas, sources whisper to ‘The Sun on Sunday’. Even though ticket prices have dropped drastically, the singer still fails to draw full houses, says the British tabloid.
After the first round of concerts sold out, prices for the new series of performances skyrocketed and fans of Adele had to pay a whopping £ 40,000 (over 45,000 euros) for a ticket. The ticket price has now dropped considerably, currently a seat in the hall still costs £ 3450. Still, fans stay away, according to the tabloid.
“Adele’s performances have been great, but funnily enough the interest in seeing her sing, which was there before, has faded,” said a source. “It shows in the ticket prices. It is even said that people can get a front row seat just before the performance for a few hundred pounds.” To make the hall seem a bit sold out, The Colosseum would use so-called ‘seat fillers’, according to the tabloid, random people who are used to fill the empty places.
The singer has been performing her own so-called Residency show in the famous American gambling city since mid-November. Adele will perform in Las Vegas until March 25. According to The Sun on Sunday , ticket prices are expected to drop even further by then.
