Here comes the official trailer of Ant-Man and the Wasp, which certainly clarifies the plot of the next Marvel, rich in new actors and solid actresses.
On July 18, the pressure may be quite monstrous on the shoulders of Ant-Man and The Wasp as Avengers: Infinity War has raised the bar at the level of criticism ( Avengers: Infinity War: our opinion on the ultimate Marvel that puts KO, with or without glove ) and box office ( Avengers: Infinity War: not surprisingly, Thanos also blew up the box office ). No doubt that the hero embodied by Paul Rudd will need the reinforcement provided by Evangeline Lilly.
It’s not size that matters, but the number
As the name of the film clearly indicates, this 20th opus of the MCU will therefore serve primarily to introduce The Wasp, a new character embodied by the actress seen in particular Lost . Chronologically speaking, this album is located after Captain America: Civil War and most likely before the events of Avengers: Infinity War . While Scott Lang is already struggling to reconcile his life as a superhero and his responsibilities as a father, his reflections on the consequences of his choices are short when Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) entrust him with a new mission urgent. Our hero will then have to put on his suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp to shed light on long-buried secrets.
This is where the main antagonist of the new trailer, Ghost, played by Hannah John-Kamen ( Killjoys ) will take part. Michael Peña (Luis) will also be back in the cast, where will also be Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet van Dyne), Laurence Fishburne (Dr. Bill Foster aka Goliath) , Randall Park (Jimmy Woo) and Walton Goggins (Sonny Burch). See you in a few months to see the result.
