There is a lot of interest in the concert that Madonna (64) will give on December 1 in the Ziggo Dome.
Tickets went on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Within a few minutes, almost 30,000 people were in the digital queue. Concert organizer MOJO speaks of a ‘rush’.
Due to the great interest, a second concert has been announced for December 2. Ticket sales for this have also started immediately. The great interest can be called striking. Fans complained a lot about the high prices. Fans pay almost 300 euros for a pitch and there are tickets available that are several hundred euros more expensive.
It is Madonna’s first concert in the Netherlands in eight years. The singer kicks off her 35-city Celebration Tour in North America on July 15. Later the singer travels to Europe, for shows in London, Barcelona and Paris, among others. The shows in Amsterdam are the last of her tour.
