Square Enix announces that Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is now available on smartphones running on iOS and Android. The first chapter of the mobile version of Final Fantasy 15 is free, while the others are paid.
The sweetened version of Pocket Edition Final Fantasy 15 with a cartoon graphic style and simplified gameplay for touch is finally released by the Japanese publisher Square Enix on the App Store and Google Play. Divided into several parts, its first chapter is free. The following can be bought individually or as a whole for 19.99 euros. To be able to play on iOS (preferably with the firmware 11.1) in good conditions, Apple advises to have an iPhone 6s, iPad Pro, iPad, iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 4 with 5 GB of space disk or higher (the high-resolution version requires 8 GB or more).

On Google’s side, it is advisable to have a smartphone running Android 5.0 (or later), a processor of 1.5 GHz or more, a RAM of 2 GB or more and 5 GB of disk space or more (the high version resolution requires 8 GB or more). Nevertheless, it is good to know that some devices are not supported, even if the version of Android installed is part of the versions supported by Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition. In the options, one can choose the language for the voices (Japanese included), as well as the quality of the graphics and the number of images per second.
