Simpson confessed in an interview that he had reached such a terrible point that death crossed his mind.
OJ Simpson revealed that he faced an uphill battle with Covid-19, which he thought would not survive the disease last year. The former soccer player said the virus made it nearly impossible for him to catch his breath.
According to TMZ, Simpson confessed in an interview that he had reached such a terrible point in his illness that death crossed his mind.
“When I had Covid, I could hardly get out of bed (…) I couldn’t catch my breath, I felt vulnerable,” said the 74-year-old former athlete. “And for the first time I thought it might be near the end,” he says.
Long after, when he finally recovered, he said he was very grateful for it and explained how he is enjoying and loving his life outside of prison in Las Vegas.
NEW ROUTINE
OJ Simpson says he now plays golf ‘four or five days a week’ and boasts that he is still treated like a celebrity.
“People want to buy me drinks,” he said. “I am always taking photos with people. The ladies hug me, ”she commented cheerfully.
“People really care about me. You don’t know who really cares about you until you’ve been through some serious things, and I’ve been through some serious things. The media won’t tell you, but this is my life, ”he justifies.
