The actress suffered to get them treated in an emergency room, due to saturation by Covid-19.
With tears in her eyes, the Orange Is The New Black star explained that it took her hours to be seen in a hospital emergency room.
“The surgery went well, but yesterday I had some complications and I had to go to the emergency room, I had to go to the hospital,” she said in his Instagram stories, according to the newspaper Metro.
“By the time I thought,” Okay, I have to go to the hospital now, “we called an ambulance and it took us hours to find a hospital that could treat me or anyone else,” he added through tears.
“They had been turning people away all night and my case was pretty serious, so we held on a little longer and were lucky to be accepted by a hospital after a little confrontation.”
The 35-year-old actress continued: “They were all amazing, all the doctors and nurses were amazing. Please stay safe, try to keep everyone else safe, get vaccinated if you can. Please.
“It doesn’t have to be that difficult for everyone and I can’t imagine all the other people who are going through much more dire situations right now.”
In addition to series like Orange Is The New Black and movies like SAS: Red Notice, Ruby starred in the CW’s Batwoman, but announced her departure after one season.
She later revealed that undergoing a back operation and the Covid-19 pandemic were related to his decision to leave the program.
