Britney Spears (39) receives support from an unexpected source. Her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake (40), with whom she was together from 1999 to 2002, announced via Twitter that ‘everyone should support Britney now’. And that’s remarkable, because the two didn’t part very smoothly and have virtually no contact after that.
“No woman should lose control of her own body”
“After everything we’ve seen today, we have to get behind Britney Spears en masse. Regardless of our past together, in which we have had good and bad times. None of that matters anymore. But what’s happening to her now just isn’t right. No woman should lose control of her own body,” Justin said on social media.
He continues: “No one should EVER be held against their will or ask permission at all to access what they have worked so hard for. Jessica and I send all our love, and especially all our support, to Britney during these trying times. We hope the court makes the right decision and lets her live the life she wants to live.”
Fans are excited about Justin’s post. “It’s great that you’re standing up for her publicly like that. You share a past and grew up together. What happened next is a thing of the past. It’s nice to see you speak out and put her interests first.’
After what we saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time.

Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right.
No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body.
