Kim Kardashian’s husband has presented his first official announcement of his campaign to be the next US president.
Kanye West has submitted his first official announcement of his campaign to become the next president of the United States, just 22 days before the election.
The singer officially announced that he would participate in the 2020 race for the White House on July 4, but the rapper has struggled to meet the requirements and deadlines for his name to appear on the ballot, qualifying in only 12 states and encouraging fans to vote for him as a candidate in writing.
Despite his uphill battle, Kanye has refused to give up hope and on Monday released his first political ad for the White House on social media.
The video shows Kim Kardashian’s husband standing on a podium with a large black and white version of the United States flag behind him as he delivers a speech calling on fellow Americans to “act in faith” while emphasizes the importance of family, using some old photos from her childhood to illustrate her point.
“We have to act in faith with the certainty that we are pursuing the right goals and doing the right things,” he says.
“We will build a stronger country by building stronger families. Families are the pillars of society, of a nation ”…
“As we turn to faith, we will be the kind of nation, the kind of people that God wants us to be.”
