The actress says she was not going to move to America, but now she likes it there.
In a new interview with British Harper’s Bazaar, Emily Blunt described how she accidentally moved to the United States. Although the actress was going to stay in her hometown.
I bought a house in London and was going to live there with my sister. I didn’t even consider moving to the USA, but then I realized that more and more of my things are at John’s house. Over time, I realized that I actually live in America. It seems to me that this is the best way to move: to gradually transport things, and not to appear on the threshold with all the suitcases at once,
Said Emily, who officially became a United States citizen in 2015.
Recall that Emily Blunt has been married to actor and director John Krasinski since 2010. The couple got married in Italy after a year and a half of a relationship. The spouses have two daughters – Hazel Grace and Violet.
A year ago, the family moved to New York, in the Brooklyn Heights area, where Adam Driver and Matt Damon live next door to them.
There, people are not interested in celebrities. No one has the time or desire to stare at you or come up to you on the street. You can go anywhere – to the supermarket, dry cleaning, to school for children. The car is not needed here. I would love to live in London, but it’s actually good here too,
Blunt shared in an interview.
