A photo agency claims that Perry misused the image of herself at a Halloween party in 2016.
A three-year-old photo of herself has led singer Katy Perry to copyright issues, bringing a $ 150,000 lawsuit against her.
At a 2016 Halloween party, Perry had dressed up as Hillary Clinton. He then posted the photo on Instagram, and the celebrity news agency Backgrid has now filed a lawsuit against him, reports msn.com.
Backgrid has claimed that Perry violated federal law in the United States by posting a copyrighted photograph of the agency on his personal Instagram page.
The agency added that Perry should have paid a license fee if he wanted to use the 2016 image, and sued it for $ 150,000 to use it.
The photograph, however, is still on Perry’s Instagram page. While dressed as Hillary, her current partner Orlando Bloom is by her side, dressed as a cartoon of Donald Trump.
“BILL & HILL 4EVA”, Perry has subtitled the image on social networks.
