The nineteen-year-old American rapper YNW Melly, who recently released a song with Ye West, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of a double murder.
The rapper would have shot two men from a moving car at the end of October, reports the police on Twitter.
An accusation against the rapper has been filed by the police of Miramar, a city in the US state of Florida. This was done on the basis of forensic investigation.
The car from which YNW Melly, whose real name is Jamell Demons, would have been shot, was driven by another person.
The victims were taken to the local hospital in Miramar by car, where they subsequently died from their injuries. They would have been former friends of the rapper.
There is no motive for the murder yet. In October, Demons’ lawyer Bradford Cohen said that the rapper was “very sad” because of the loss of his two best friends.
YNW Melly released his album We All Shine in January. His best known hit so far is the single Mixed Personalities in which he collaborates with Ye West.
