The HBO channel has just communicated on the new season of True Detective. A date for the start of season 3 has been unveiled: we will have to wait until next year.
HBO unveils the first information on the upcoming season of True Detective. Scheduled for January 13, the season will break down into eight episodes. The series will see, once again, a completely renewed cast. And for good reason, after Matthew McConaughey (season 1) and Colin Farell (season 2), the series sees the arrival of Oscar winner Mahershala Ali (House of Cards, Luke Cage, Moonlight) for the new season.
Directed by Jeremy Saulnier (Green Room) and the creator of the series Nic Pizzolatto, the latter will also be in the screenplay with the creator of Deadwood, David Milch.
Detective marked for life by a case
In Arkansas, detective Wayne Hays (Mahershala Ali) must investigate a gruesome crime. An investigation that will follow during three periods of his life. The detective is particularly haunted by this unresolved event in the heart of the Ozark Mountains.
In addition, the American channel has unveiled several photos, with the presence of actress Carmen Ejogo and actor Stephen Dorff. After 4 years of absence, the series True Detective will know a new investigation of scale. Beginning January 13th.
