29 years after the first episode of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ came on television, lead actor Will Smith (51) launches a clothing line that is entirely devoted to the series.
“I don’t know why I didn’t do this when we recorded the series,” Will says. “I love these things and it feels like I’m twelve years old again. It makes me completely hyperactive. “
From 1990 to 1996, Will played the lead in the comic series, which was about a teenager from a poorer neighborhood in Philadelphia who moved to the home of his wealthy uncle and aunt in chic Bel-Air. The items of clothing that he now brings to the market are all inspired by his character. For example, there is a training jacket in the collection that has a dark blue exterior, but can also be worn inside out with a much more colorful print. In the series, Will changed the jacket lining he had to wear at his new private school so that he could wear the jacket the other way around.
Whoever wants to buy one of the items of clothing can visit the website of the actor. For a T-shirt you pay between 33 and 44 euros, a sweater costs around 65 euros and for a pair of socks you have to pay 17 euros. Being quick is the message, because the collection can only be purchased for a few weeks.
