US media report that the flames broke out in a three-story warehouse and originated in the facilities of the Majestic Industries company, which manufactures furniture for casinos and bingo halls and is connected to a warehouse that produces chlorine.
State Governor Phil Murphy addressed local residents, asking them to stay out of the affected area and close their windows.
