The Prodigy can be found again in the American charts of Billboard. Billboard reports this based on research by Nielsen Music. The return is probably due to the death of frontman Keith Flint, who committed suicide on March 4 at the age of 49.
The British band is on the Hot Dance / Electronic Song Sales Chart with three songs. The highest score is for the hit Firestarter (1996) which, with two thousand downloads, is good for a thirteenth place. The single Breathe (1996) is only one place lower in the list. The song Smack My Bitch Up (1997) is good for a 23rd place.
A studio album from the band also saw an increase in popularity. The third album The Fat of the Land , on which the most famous singles of the group are, comes new at the thirteenth place in the Top Dance / Electronic Albums Chart. The album was downloaded three thousand times.
In the Netherlands, The Prodigy scored its highest scores with Out of Space from 1992 and No Good (Start the Dance) from 1994. Both singles managed to make it to third place in the Single Top 100.
