The Matrix Resurrections is the sequel to The Matrix Revolutions from 2003. During a presentation at CineCon, film studio Warner Bros also shared a first trailer for the fourth part of the Matrix film series.
The trailer stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as Neo and Trinity again. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays a young Morpheus.
The film, which is directed by Lana Wachowski, also stars Jada Pinkett Smith, Christina Ricci, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris and Toby Onwumer.
The Matrix Resurrections is set to hit theaters December 22 and will be released simultaneously on streaming service HBO Max.
