The upcoming IX episode of “Star Wars” almost a year and a half before the release already attracts attention – then the news of the posthumous return of Carrie Fisher and her heroine Princess Leia, then by loud castings. Not so long ago it became known that Keri Russell and Richard E. Grant joined the film, and now Star Wars has one more replenishment – in the person of Dominic Monaghan, familiar to the audience, first of all, according to the “Lord of the Rings”.

Interestingly, with John J. Abrams, who shoots the 9th episode of “Star Wars,” Dominic once had time to work on the series “Staying Alive”. The premiere of the film, we recall, is scheduled for December 19, 2019.

About what kind of role went to Monaghan, so far nothing is known, as well as about what roles are offered to other newcomers to the space saga. Although the shooting of a new episode of Star Wars has already begun, it’s hardly worth waiting for details about the new roles in the near future – JJ Abrams, who heads the production process, is an ardent opponent of spoilers and the disclosure of important information right up to the premiere.
