A stuntman injured his head in Leavesden Studios, located in northwestern London.
The shooting of the ninth installment of Fast and Furious was stopped on Monday in England after the accident on the set of a stuntman, reports The Hollywood Reporter . The facts occurred in Leavesden Studios, located in northwestern London.
“One of our stuntmen was injured today on the set of Fast 9 in Leavesden,” a spokesman for the Universal studio, which produces the Fast and Furious franchise, told the publication . “We stopped filming for a day to deal with this situation.”
The man was injured during a fall and suffered a serious injury to his head. He was rushed to Royal London Hospital.
It is unclear whether the cast – including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Cena and Charlize Theron – were present at the time of the accident.
Famous film studios, Leavesden has hosted the eight Harry Potter, GoldenEye , Inception and most recently Cats , Sacred Witches and Wonder Woman . Directed by Justin Lin, Fast and Furious 9 will be released on May 20, 2020 . Hobbs & Shaw , a spin-off with Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson and Idris Elba, is released on August 7th.
