Good news for fans of the series “Peaky blinders”, in front of the audience waiting for not only two full season, but also a feature film. At least, the idea of moving your favorite characters to the big screens is very impressive to screenwriter Stephen Knight.
Over the weekend in Birmingham, a two-day festival was held, fully dedicated to the multi-part crime drama. Stephen Knight spoke about plans for the future that will undoubtedly please fans.
I am currently writing a script for season six. And he is almost complete. Then I’ll take up the seventh season, and after that I’ll think about the spin-off, possibly a full-length film, where the action will unfold at the beginning of World War II,
– said the filmmaker. He added that we are not talking about the prequel, because “you cannot kill a character who then appears in the series.”
It is noteworthy that the festival was performed by former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, a big fan of Sharp Visors. He bargained for a role in the series in return for a performance, Stephen Knight reluctantly, but went to meet him.
