As per the news update by the Reuters The Taliban agreed to allow 200 Americans to leave the country.
According to the U.S Special Representative Zalmay Khalilzad the Taliban were pressed to allow the departures.
U.S Offical said that Taliban athorities in agreement to allow 200 American Civilians and some Afghan nationals who were still in Afghanistan after the end of the evacuation operation. The allowed people would depart from Kabul via Charter flights.
U.S Special Reprsentative Zalmay Khalilzad The Taliban were pressed to allow the departures, said the officials who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity.
These departures were suppose to happen on Thursday. This could be confirm by the officials that whether these were among those people who were strandarded for days in Mazar-i-Sharif as the private charters planes were not allowed to depart.
