Susan Sarandon has expressed her thoughts on a musical adaptation of “Thelma & Louise” that Amanda Seyfried and Evan Rachel Wood are working on.

Recently, news broke that Amanda and Evan are developing a musical version of the 1991 film “Thelma & Louise”, in which Susan starred alongside Geena Davis.
Susan shared her opinions on the project while at the premiere of her new film “Maybe I Do”.

Susan Sarandon said “I think that’s fabulous. They’re both great. And I hope they have as much fun and enjoy each other and love each other as much as Geena and I did.” when asked about Amanda Seyfried and Evan Rachel Wood’s musical adaptation of “Thelma & Louise”.

There are rumors that the musical will be heading to Broadway, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
Amanda Seyfried talked about the project at the 2023 Critics’ Choice Awards, expressing her desire to perform on Broadway and her excitement about singing.

Amanda also mentioned that she’s a bit nervous about her Broadway debut but she is ready to face her fears and embrace the joy that comes from doing so.

Amanda also praised Evan Rachel Wood’s singing skills.
