X Factor jury member Simon Cowell (60) will soon be joining forces with his 6-year-old son Eric. The two will write seven children’s books, report British and American media.
The writer duo goes to work for Hachette Children’s Group, one of the largest publishers of children’s books in the UK. Simon and Eric will write a total of seven books about so-called Wishfits, magical and strange animals that they came up with together. The stories are, for example, about a combination between a crocodile and a cat (Crocopuss in English) and an animal that looks like a pig / sheep, called Simon and Eric a ‘Peep’.
The first three books must be published in the spring of 2021. Part of the proceeds goes to the charities Shooting Star Children’s Hospice and Together For Short Lives.
