LOS GATOS – The Sex Education hit series has a second season. Netflix will make eight new episodes about the life of the adolescent boy Otis and his mother who is a sex therapist. The streaming service has announced this on Friday.
Sex Education receives many critical reviews and is praised for the refreshing and feminine-friendly way in which the coming-of-age story is brought. The funny story with many uncomfortable and warm moments has stolen many hearts.
The first season is just a month on Netflix. It is estimated that more than 40 million households have already seen the series.
About the second season the maker Laurie Nunn says in a statement that she was excited how the first season would be received. “That people all over the world felt so connected to the characters that came into being as ideas in my head is incredible, I am extremely grateful to everyone who has taken the time to watch the series, and I can not wait to continue this amazing journey. “
