True to himself, it was with humor that Ryan Reynolds celebrated the 5th anniversary of the release of the first Deadpool movie . On Saturday, the Canadian actor shared on Twitter a letter written in response to that of a fan, dating (according to him) from 2016. A word in which he says a lot of things … which have finally changed over the years. years, or turned out to be wrong.“Five years later, I’m still in awe of Deadpool fans. Hunter wrote me this letter after the movie was released and for some reason my response was never posted. Pretty much, ”he wrote alongside two photos: that of the fan’s letter and its response.

In his letter, Ryan Reynolds thanks the fan for his compliments on the tone (with provocative and scabrous humor) of the film. “I’m really happy with the way the film was received, and proud that we took that bias. Can you imagine if Deadpool was part of Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe? Ahahaahha,” he told her, pointing out that this would not have been accepted and certainly censored. Since then Disney bought 20th Century Fox , and the superhero is well and truly part of the MCU.
In the rest of his message, the star talks about his wife, actress Blake Lively . “She is pregnant with our second (and last!) Child,” writes Ryan Reynolds … who is now a father of three. He also talks about investing in a music festival called “Fyre” – which turned out to be a scam and a complete fiasco.”Acting and I are like Tom Brady and the New England Patriots: forever,” he adds – the sportsman left the team in March 2020.
Finally, he says he is looking forward to the release of Deadpool 3 in 2020, so that he can spend some time meeting the fans. “Hugs and hand shakes are much better than letters (…) In the meantime, let’s stay in touch on Vine!”, Concludes the actor. Since then, the social network Vine has been closed, and the pandemic has forced social distancing. As for the third installment of Deadpool , its shooting should not start before 2022.
