Free Guy the 20th Century Studios would be released on Aug. 27 in China. This Date would provide only a week to mount the local Marketing Campaign.Sci-Fi Action comedy “Free Guy” by Disney and 20th Century Studios starrring by Ryan Reynolds, has got the date of release on 27th August in China. This announcment of last minute would left a week for all the promotional campaign for “Free Guy” in china. Although the date is very near but still this news is good for the U.S entertainment industry after a long blackout for the movie by Hollywood.
Disney and Pixar’s Luca, which opened Friday, was the first title by Hollywood to embrace China since Sony’s Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway on June 11 (it earned $30.7 million). Luca lost the weekend badly, though, earning just $5 million and coming in second behind local action flick Raging Fire, which has been in cinemas since July 30.
