A new series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is being developed at 20th Century Fox. The series ran earlier from 1997 to 2003.
Variety reports that. The original creator of the series, Joss Whedon, is also in the reboot of the party.
Sarah Michelle Gellar, who appeared in 144 episodes of the old series as Buffy Summers, makes way for a new actress. Who will play the leading role is still unknown.
In 2015, Gellar announced that she was too old for the role of Buffy Summers. “At the moment I am too old for a reunion, unfortunately,” said the then 37-year-old actress.
It is not yet known where and when the series will be shown.
