A new page opens on the world of the video game.

Google is about to become one of the major players in the field of video games? The announcement of Project Stream has anything to put the mouth water. The US giant announced in the evening on Monday the launch of its streaming platform: Project Stream. The latter does not arrive alone since the title of Ubisoft, Assassin ‘s Creed Odyssey will be available and playable via the Chrome browser. After the streaming video popularized by Netflix, music and Spotify, it’s the turn of the video game to get going. Google even unveiled a video of Assassin’s Creed gameplay that reveals a functional result.

The future of streaming on the Google side?

It is in any case the promise of this first step in collaboration with the French studio Ubisoft. The title Assassin’s Creed Odyssey can be played via the Chrome browser. Some lucky people will be able to test the device (for free) by visiting this address. Attention all the same: the latter is for the moment reserved only for the USA – but to open logically to the rest of the world.

We have partnered with one of the most innovative and successful videos. Video game publishers, Ubisoft, will stream their Google browser on a laptop or desktop

Many builders, like Sony or Microsoft, are showing great interest in streaming video games. The Google giant seems to lead the way. No doubt that after the next title of Ubisoft, if the test is conclusive, other games should follow. It is impossible not to congratulate this attractive initiative!
