Prince Charles becomes guest editor of a special edition of the magazine Country Life. The edition is released on the seventieth birthday of the prince, on 14 November.
The magazine is about Charles’ passion about life in the countryside and about his estates Clarence House, Highgrove Gardens and Dumfries House.
His wife, Duchess Camilla, will also write an article. The editor-in-chief, Paula Lester, talks about the new job of the prince: “It is entirely his own thing. It comes from his heart and shows what a passion he has for the countryside and that is really visible in the magazine. ”
It is not the first time that Prince Charles writes something for Country Life. On his 65th birthday in 2013, he was also guest editor, and he wrote a column about life in the countryside for each successive birthday.
