Michael Jackson’s children were certainly not overwhelmed by the gifts. In the podcast of Naomi Campbell (51) daughter Paris (23) says that she and her brothers always had to give something in return if they wanted something.
“You had to earn everything with us”
“You had to earn everything with us,” says the now 23-year-old. “If we wanted five things from the toy store, we had to read five books. It was about not thinking we were entitled to things, but learning that if you want something, you have to work for it. Then it feels as an achievement.”
Paris was 11 years old when her father died in 2009. Now working as a model and actress, she upholds her father’s work ethic. “I go to auditions, I work hard, I study a lot of scripts. I totally agree that I have to earn it all.”
