Just a little more patience and then we can finally enjoy the long-awaited live-action remake of The Lion King. For those who can no longer keep their patience under control, Disney gives a few previews here and there. The last gift? New images of the iconic song Hakuna Matata.
In the new musical teaser we hear protagonist Donald Glover, Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner give their turn to the cheerful song Hakuna Matata. And that is enjoying!

Not only Simba, Timon and Pumba return in the 2019 remake. Simba’s father Mufasa also makes his appearance. There is a good chance that his voice seems familiar to you, because James Earl Jones already played this role in the original from 1994! None other than Beyoncé plays the role of Simba’s great love: Nala.
In addition to classics Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata and Can You Feel The Love Tonight, there is also a brand new song in the film. Well-known composer Hans Zimmer collaborated with Elton John for this and Pharrell Williams and Queen B herself also contributed.
The Lion King tells the story of Simba, a lion cub who after the murder of his father Mufasa flees from his mean uncle Scar, who killed his father and blamed Simba for it. Gradually, and with the help of his (new) friends, Simba learns that he should not be afraid of his past and face his fear in order to claim his rightful place as king.
