The new album of Ariana Grande is planned for next summer. The American singer then releases the new record Sweetener.
Grande confirmed that in The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.
At Sweetener there are collaborations with, among others, Pharrell Williams and Max Martin. The 24-year-old singer also gave away a title of a song: Raindrops. The album also features the song No Tears Left To Cry, which the American launched on Friday, April 20. The song was written by the singer as a result of the attack after her concert in Manchester on 22 May 2017, killing 22 people.
The pop star said in the show that she wants to bring “light” with her new album. “In a certain situation, or in someone’s life, or someone else who brings light into your life, to mitigate the situation,” Grande said, who did not talk about the attack after her concert in Manchester.
Strong
That did Host Fallon short. “I know it’s difficult for everyone, and I also know that you did not do any interviews, and I understand that”, the talk show host began. “I just really wanted to thank you for being here and for having done the benefit concert in Manchester, which was so strong and cool.”
Grande last released an album in 2016 with Dangerous Woman.
