Fans of Adele (32) do not have to count on a musical comeback from the singer for the time being. The British is going back into her cave after she had presented ‘Saturday Night Live’ once last week, she writes on Instagram.
“See you next year”
The American comedy program was Adele’s first media appearance in over four years. Fans hoped it was the prelude to a new album, but they are now again disappointed.
In her post, Adele thanks all SNL employees . She also wishes all Americans good luck with the election. “Look out for each other and don’t be too hard on yourself,” she says. ‘I go back into my cave to be the (single) cat lady again. See you next year.’
With that last comment, Adele also casually responds to relationship rumors and confirms that she is still single. Earlier Wednesday, People reported that the singer would be seriously dating rapper Skepta. Adele announced in April last year that she was going to divorce her husband Simon Konecki after a seven-year marriage. The two have a son together.
