Today, Tuesday, Germany recorded more than 900 new deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.

The data of the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed that Germany recorded 6408 new cases of the epidemic, bringing the total number of infections to two million and 148077.

An increase in the death toll was also recorded to 52,990, after 903 new deaths were detected.

Strict quarantine measures have been imposed in Germany since December 16.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the leaders of the federal states agreed last week to extend the general isolation, which means that schools, restaurants and all non-essential commercial activities will continue to be closed until February 14th.
