Actor Max Willems stops playing Q Bouwhuis in the soap opera Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden. His role is taken over by Giovanni Kemper.
Willems leaves the longest running Dutch soap opera for a role in College, a series from Amazon. In it, the nineteen-year-old Willems plays a second-year student with European roots and a drug history. Endemol and RTL have confirmed Willems’ departure against Televizier.
The production of College is in the hands of Channing Tatum and Jill Soloway. Besides Willems, Amy Forsyth ( Rise ), Jessica Sula ( Recovery Road ), Zainne Saleh (The Night Shift ), X. Lee, Birgundi Baker ( The Chi) and Barrett Carnahan ( Grown-ish ) also have a role, writes Deadline.
Kemper is a 27-year-old singer, dancer and actor. He was a finalist in So You Think Can Dance in 2013 and played in the musicals Miss Saigon, The Lion King, Aladdin and Peter Pan . Kemper will make his debut in Meerdijk on Tuesday 27 November.
