New stars continue to light up on the World Walk of Fame The ranks of recognized Hollywood celebrities yesterday joined the actress Mandy Moore.
Mandy Moore is known to the wide audience on the TV series “It’s We,” the films “How to become a princess,” “Rush to Love” and “Dark Reflections,” and yesterday she was finally awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. At the opening ceremony, the actress invited about the same number of colleagues and acquaintances as she had at her wedding with musician Taylor Goldsmith last year. Among them were Sterling K. Brown, Susan Kelechi Watson, John Huertas, Chrissy Metz and Justin Hartley.
The actress did not hide her joy and thanked all those present for the support on this day.
“I am so glad to be with you all today. It is a great honor to join the ranks of talented people whose stars are the legacy of Hollywood Boulevard. Being a little girl from Orlando, Florida, I was not sure that I could dream of anything more. I never could have imagined that something like that would ever happen and we would all be here today.”
According to Mandy Moore, she owes her success to Dan Fogelman, the creator of the popular TV series “It’s We,” in which the actress plays the role of Rebecca Pearson. Fogelman was honored to speak at this event.
