The actor and his wife, screenwriter Meaghan Oppenheimer, were caught off guard by the unexpected delivery of a package.
Agents with the Los Angeles Police Department are investigating after a mysterious package was sent to the home of Lucifer star Tom Ellis.
The actor and his wife, screenwriter Meaghan Oppenheimer, were caught off guard by the unexpected delivery, which turned out to be a “glitter bomb,” a box full of glitter.
However, the detail that caused the couple concern was that the package was addressed to Oppenheimer, rather than her more famous husband.
They filed a police report on the incident, which is now being investigated by detectives from LAPD’s Threat Management division, who are said to already have a lead on a possible suspect, TMZ reports.
The security scare took place just three weeks after Ellis finished filming his hit series Lucifer after six seasons.
