Decades ago, Michael Jackson was accused of sexual abuse. In the mid-1980s, the FBI opened an investigation to find out whether the King of Pop had abused two Mexican boys , but the matter was quickly re-classified for lack of evidence. A memo surfaced from the US federal police would now reveal how that could happen, writes The Sun .
We go back to 1985-1986. Michael Jackson would have sexually abused two Mexican boys during that period. An eyewitness would have called the Los Angeles police to tell him what he saw. The FBI then opened an investigation and also searched for a video called “Michael Jackson’s Neverland Favorites,” which shows how children perform sexual acts.
However, the research has not been conducted for a long time. According to the leaked FBI document, the boys filed a report, but the case was put in the spotlight. The FBI would have closed the case so quickly, because the King of Pop would just receive an award from President Ronald Reagan at the White House. Because the whole issue would create a bad impression and embarrass the White House, they would have asked the FBI to drop the investigation.

“On December 27, 1993, the Department of Sexual Exploitation of Children of the Los Angeles Police received a phone call from [CONFIDENTIAL]”, the memo begins. “He said he was contacted by [CONFIDENTIAL], who was writing a book about the allegations of child abuse against Michael Jackson. [CONFIDENTIAL] then gave the advice that [CONFIDENTIAL] had to inform that he had information about the investigation conducted by the FBI in 1985 and 1986 into the accusations against Jackson, who would have abused two Mexican children. [CONFIDENTIAL] reported that the agent who conducted the investigation is of Latin American origin. The agent, who is a Mormon, did not continue the investigation because Jackson would receive an award from the president. According to [CONFIDENTIAL] the research was put in the spotlight. ”
However, it is not clear what distinction it would be. Jackson received the ‘ Presidential Public Safety Commendation’ in 1984 . A year later he was accused of abuse. The memo was used by the FBI at the time to compile a secret file against the world famous singer.
