The actress of That’s 70 show turns her back on Scientology, and says that for 5 years she has not practiced its precepts.
Actress Laura Prepon has turned her back on Scientology.
The Orange is the New Black star used to be a member of the controversial church, but insists she is no longer a practicing Scientologist.
“I’ve always had a very open mind, even since I was a child,” says Laura in a new interview. “I was raised Catholic and Jewish. I have prayed in churches, meditated in temples. I have studied the Chinese theory of meridians. I have not practiced Scientology in about five years and it is no longer a part of my life. “
She offered no reason why she left.
Prepon’s actor husband, Ben Foster, has also been linked to Scientology, but it is not known if he is still an active member of the church, which counts John Travolta and Tom Cruise as faithful devotees.
