In the world of reality stars, a make-up line has become quite common. But the biggest among the ladies is Kylie Jenner (22). The Kylie Cosmetics owner was crowned by her company as the youngest billionaire of all time, but has now sold more than half of the company to another party.
Kylie Cosmetics is estimated at a value of 1.2 billion dollars and Kylie was until recently the sole owner of the empire. However, that has changed. The reality star has sold 51% of the shares to the Coty group for around $ 600 million. The parent company Coty is responsible for Clairol, CoverGirl and MaxFactor, among others.
Although Coty has quite a bit of financial control, Kylie would also be in control. The partners came up with a statement in which Coty indicates that the brunette is still in the lead in the creative expressions and communication of the company. This means that the 22-year-old will continue her work on social media and will continue to appeal to all her 270 million followers on the various platforms with her makeup.
The main purpose of the cooperation would be to reach a larger market. Currently, lipsticks, lip glosses, eye shadows and other Kylie products are only sold in America. The collaboration would ensure that “the brand can grow into an international beauty superpower.” Kylie is now the biggest earner among the KarJenners because of her company and yet she still seems to be following in the footsteps of her sisters.
