The makeup mogul was quoted as saying, “I think my love of makeup started with my insecurity with my lips.”
“I had very small lips and I never thought about that until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me, ‘Oh my God, you’re such a good kisser but you have such small lips’ or something like that.”
“Since then I felt impossible to kiss. I was insecure because this guy said something to me once. I became obsessed with makeup because it delineated my lips and made me feel confident. “
