After months of legal battles, Kelly Clarkson (39) and her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock (45) have reached an agreement to divide their ranch in Montana. The singer has to give up 5 percent of the house, with a price tag of 17.8 million dollars. This is apparent from court papers held by ‘Page Six’. It amounts to more than $900,000.
Kelly lost a court-martial attempt to evict Brandon from the ranch in December, where he still lives since the divorce. The former agent of Blake Shelton, among others, argued that the house was not included in the couple’s prenuptial agreement.
Kelly and Brandon announced in June 2020 that they were splitting after seven years of marriage. A year later, during the settlement of the divorce, it was determined that she must pay one-tenth of her income to her ex. In addition to that $150,000 a month, she also has to transfer just under $50,000 a month for the living expenses of the couple’s two children. They have seven-year-old daughter River Rose and five-year-old son Remington Alexander.
