It seems that Kanye West has finally set a date for his long-awaited new album. The rapper has now promised his fans that Jesus is King will appear on October 25, according to US media during an event at George Washington University.
“I wanted to make it better for you”
Kanye would actually release his album on September 27, but was not yet satisfied with the end result. “I wanted to make it better for you,” said Kim Kardashian’s husband. The new date is a logical choice, because the documentary Jesus is King will premiere on 25 October . The film is a registration of his famous musical ‘church service’ Sunday Service.
At the beginning of last month, Kim stated that her husband would release his new album at the end of September, but this was later postponed. The reality star also shared the titles of the songs that seem to confirm with the religious titles that the rapper is coming with a gospel record. It is Kanye’s ninth studio album and the follow-up to the album Ye, which was released last June.
