Justin Bieber has the best chance of winning a prize at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) next month. The singer has been nominated seven times, the music channel announced on Wednesday.
Bieber can win in the Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best Pop Act categories, among others. The singer is not the only one with multiple nominations in his pocket. Colleagues such as Megan Thee Stallion (six), Billie Eilish (five) and Drake (five) can also win more often.
The awards ceremony will take place on September 12 from the Barclays Center in New York, the city where the music awards were first presented in 1984. After a virtual edition last year, the statuettes are now being handed over in a full hall.
