The new version of the DC blockbuster is unveiled pending its release in April. A replica of the Joker, played by Jared Leto, has caused a lot of ink to flow.
Announced a year ago, the new version of Justice League by Zack Snyder will soon be unveiled, to the delight of fans of the franchise. Forced to leave the filming of the blockbuster after the suicide of his daughter, the American director had been replaced by Joss Whedon, who had completely changed the tone of the film. He was finally able to complete Justice League as he had imagined.
The result, an epic four-hour film meant to improve upon the flaws of the hybrid version released on our screens in 2017, will be on HBO Max in the US on March 18 and in France on April 22.
In the meantime, a trailer was posted by Zack Snyder himself on Sunday night. We discover a dark film, faithful to the tone established in Man of Steel and Batman V Superman , the previous parts of his trilogy. The design of the villainous Steppenwolf has been revised and corrected, and Darkseid, the great enemy of the Justice League, makes his first on-screen appearance.
Another iconic character from the DC Comics universe appears in the Justice League trailer : the Joker, played by Jared Leto . The Oscar-winning comedian offers a more serious and disturbing version of it than that of Suicide Squad (2016).
His unique line, “We Live in a Society” – “we live in a society” – got a lot of reaction from fans on social media. This is a reference to a famous Joker meme that has become the rallying cry of those who feel left behind by the system. The meme has since evolved into a joke, but Zack Snyder’s use of this cue – little known for his second degree – is still unknown.

Fans of the Joker have been eagerly awaiting the character to deliver this line. A petition had even been circulated during the filming of Joker for it to be added to the film worn by Joaquin Phoenix.
