John Cena has secretly married his girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh in a charming wedding in Florida, reports PEOPLE.com.
According to a marriage certificate obtained by the outlet, the two said ‘Yes, I do’ at an attorney’s office Monday in Tampa, Florida.
The document says Cena, who has been in a relationship with Shariatzadeh since March 2019, obtained a marriage license on Friday.
Previously, the actor and WWE star was candid about his affair with Shariatzadeh while speaking to Entertainment Tonight.
He revealed that he met Shariatzadeh on the set of Playing with Fire.
“It is a wonderful day for a movie premiere and I have a beautiful date,” he told the outlet last October.
“What’s really special about this one is that no matter what projects I’m involved in in the future, this one will always have special meaning because I was able to film a special project and meet someone special,” he added.
