According to Joe Rogan popular podcast host “he took Ivermectin, a dewormer meant for horses” which not authorized or approved for Covid-19 treatment or prevention by FDA.
As per the tweet of FDA on August 21 Ivermectin is approved to only certain condition in humans but it is not suitable for Covid-19… as per the tweet by FDA “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.” The mentioned posted also included that information that how this drug could be “lethal and dangerious” for human.

But in the month of April Joe walked back from his comments and thoughts about the which stated that healthy and young people can skip the jab.
But On Wedesday this was stated by Joe Rogan to his Instagram fans that Joe would rearrange hsi stand up timetable due to Covid-19. “I got back from the road Saturday night feeling very weary. I had a headache. I felt just run down,” He also said next day that he was tested positive for Covid-19.
“So we threw the kitchen sink at it, all kinds of meds,” Rogan said, specifying he took a Z-Pak (aka the antibiotic azithromycin), prednisolone (a corticosteroid used to treat inflammation) and Ivermectin, which is a drug used to treat parasitic worms in horses.
It was falsely touted by some of the anti-vaxxers that Ivermectin is an alternative to Covid-19 vaccine.
On the other hand it was reported by The New York Times on Aug. 30 that Ivermectin “repeatedly failed in clinical trials to help people infected with the coronavirus.”
Rogan shared on the next day after getting positive, “Here we are on Wednesday, and I feel great,” he said. “I really only had one bad day. Today I feel good, I actually feel pretty fucking good.”
This was not mentioned by the Joe Rogan that if had been vaccinated or not but he did said on the instagram “A wonderful, heartfelt thank you to modern medicine for pulling me out of this so quickly and easily.”
